Privacy Policy
InstaGuard is a Telegram bot that protects professional Instagram accounts from follower-bot inflation. We work ONLY via the official Instagram Graph API (Meta).
What data we collect
- Public counters: followers and following (over time);
- Aggregated post interactions (average likes+comments) — to compute engagement rate;
- Your Instagram username and account ID;
- An access token (stored encrypted);
- Your Telegram chat ID — to send notifications.
What we do NOT collect
- Your followers list (the API doesn't provide it);
- Post content, photos, captions, comments or DMs;
- Your password (OAuth never shares it).
Why
The only purpose is to detect inflation (a growth spike with falling engagement) and warn you. Data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising.
Access
Read-only. We cannot post, delete, send DMs or change your account.
Storage
A private database on our server; tokens encrypted (Fernet); HTTPS-only transport.
Deletion
